ALL INDIA COUNSELLING MCC (Medical Counseling Committee)

As per the govt information brochure and the latest guidelines, NEET counselling is broadly of two types. One is the All India counselling conducted by DGHS for 15% All India Quota seats in government medical colleges and all seats in Central Institutions including AIIMS, JIPMER, AFMC, ESI, Delhi University (DU), BHU, AMU and Deemed Universities .

 

This committee has been constituted by Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for admission in MBBS, BDS and PG and it is Centralized counseling committee. In this, the admission process is completely online, that is, from registration to seat allotment, all the processes are online only. In this, the students of all the states of All India are eligible for admissions who have qualified NEET  irrespective of the state they belong to.

Admission is given for MBBS and BDS in these Medical Institutions by MCC.

Eligibility Condition for AIQ:

  • The Candidate should have qualified NEET UG.
  • Domicile free

MCC is conducting Counselling for

  • 15% All India Quota seats MBBS/BDS seats of States (Including J&K
  • 100% MBBS/ BDS Seats of BHU OPEN
  • 100% MBBS/BDS Seats of DEEMED UNIVERSITY (Private)
  • AIIMS Open seats- 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India
  • JIPMER Open (Puducherry/ Karaikal) & Internal seats (Domicile)
  • AMU Open & Internal seats
  • 85% Internal quota/domicile seats of DU/I.P University (VMMC/BVIMS/ESIC Dental)
  • Jamia Open seats- Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia) & Internal seats
  • 15% All India Quota Seats of ESIC & Insured Persons quota seats
  • AFMC – Only registration
  • 100% B. Sc (Nursing) of selected Central B.Sc. Nursing Institutes in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria /other norms/ applicable regulations/ guidelines/ rules.

Reservation

Reservation Policy of the Central Government for the NEET (UG) Counselling in All India Quota/Central Institutes/ (ABVIMS & RML and VMMC & SJH, ESIC) Universities (DU, AMU, BHU)/AIIMS/JIPMER/DEEMEED is as follows:

  • EWS- 10 % as per Central Government Norms
  • S.C- 15 %
  • S.T- 7.5 %
  • PwBD- 5 % Horizontal Reservation
  • No Reservation for Deemed University for MBBS/BDS Admission

Round of AIQ Counselling

There will be four rounds of AIQ online counseling i.e

  • AIQ Round 1
  • AIQ Round 2
  • AIQ Round 3 (earlier known as AIQ Mop-Up Round)
  • AIQ Stray Vacancy.

All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) across the Country. Cut-off rank of eligible candidates will also be available on the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in)/ https://neet.nta.nic.in/

Deemed Counselling:

There will be four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round. All the 4 rounds shall be conducted online by MCC as per the directions the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide order dated 12.12.2022.

There will be no reservation for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD/EWS candidates in Deemed Universities.

  • AIQ Round 1
  • AIQ Round 2
  • AIQ Round 3 (earlier known as AIQ Mop-Up Round)
  • AIQ Stray Vacancy.

Important Point for Admission Process

  • All NEET Qualified and eligible candidates are required to register on the MCC website to participate in the counselling process for allotment of seat.
  • A candidate can submit NEET-UG Counselling application/registration form only once. Any candidate found to have submitted more than one application/registration form for NEET-UG Counselling shall be debarred from NEET-UG Counselling allotment process, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and further action as deemed appropriate by the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW shall be taken
  • The information regarding Stipend /fee structure/ course duration / bond amount / rendering of service in rural / tribal area/other conditions etc. has been provided by Medical Colleges. Counselling Authorized no responsibility regarding the above information including Fees/ Bond/ Mode of Payment or any typographical error/ data etc.
  • Candidates are advised to confirm the fee structure/ any other additional fee or hidden charges from the colleges especially Deemed Universities/Private Colleges before filling up choices for the same. Some colleges might have high fee structure, therefore confirmation about the fee should be made before hand, and MCC of DGHS takes no responsibility of the fee structure of the colleges and will not entertain any request or complaint regarding Fee Structure.

NRI Quota :

The Candidates who wish to claim the benefit under NRI category through NRI sponsorship will have to submit the following.

  • Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer)
  • Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme
  • Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate.
  • Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer
  • NEET Score Card of the candidate.
