Counseling is to allot seats to the MBBS and BDS seats in India according to the merit and choice of the student. Those who have the right to allot seats through counseling are called counseling authority. It is both online and offline, seats in online are allotted from computer, whereas in offline, students are allotted according to merit after appearing.
There are three types of Counseling Authority for MBBS and BDS Admission in India. Students who want to take admission in MBBS and BDS can register for these three counseling. Admission in MBBS and BDS by these three counseling authorities will be on NEET score but for counseling registration will have to be done separately. NEET Qualified candidates are advised to read the counselling related information carefully and understand the course of action to be taken by them for appearing in the Counselling. The counselling of NEET UG for 15% All India Quota seats and State Medical Colleges/ Universities/Institutions will be conducted in four rounds counselling for Central & Deemed Universities First Round, second Round and Third Round, Stray Vacancy Round.
