AYUSH COUNSLLING

All the Ayurvedic colleges in India will take admissions on the basis of NEET marks and All India Ranks Basis. Candidates who have qualified the NEET exam can start preparing for All India and State level Ayush counselling sessions for the admission of BAMS/BHMS Courses. No direct admission in College/University level.

Counselling Process

  • Counseling for All India Quota-UG (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) seats of Private ASU&H Institutes will be conducted by respective State/UT counseling authority, and the candidates are required to contact the concerned State-UT Counseling/Admission Authority for the same.

Type of counseling

  • There are two types of Counseling Authority for BAMS and BHMS Admission in India. Students who want to take admission in BAMS and BHMS can register for these two counseling. Admission in BAMS and BHMS by these two counseling authorities will be on NEET score basis but for counseling registration will have to be done separately.
  • AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee)
  • State Ayush Counseling Authority ( State DME )

The counselling for admission to the seats under the control of State Governments/ UT Administrations / State Universities/ Institutions shall be conducted by the designated authorities of the State Governments as per the notifications issued separately by the authorities concerned.

AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee)

  • Candidates can submit the AACCC-UG counseling registration/application form only once. Candidates who submit more than one registration/application form shall be debarred, and further action as deemed appropriate by the AACCC, M/o Ayush, shall be taken.
  • Registration facility shall be available at the beginning of the 1st Round, 2nd Round & 3rd Round, as specified in the Counseling Schedule. Further, any request (for any reason) for registration shall not be entertained after the closing of registration. There will be no fresh registration for the Stray Vacancy Round.
  • The information regarding fee structure/stipend/bond amount/rendering of service in rural/tribal areas/ hostel/ food/ other conditions has been provided by concerned Ayurveda /Siddha/ Unani/Homoeopathy Colleges. The AACCC, M/o Ayush, shall not take responsibility for the information provided by the participating institutes. Hence, Candidates are advised to visit the College website or contact the College Authorities directly for any query regarding the above information before filling choices.
  • Candidates are advised to confirm the fee structure/ any other additional fee from the colleges especially Deemed Universities, Private College before filling up the choices. Some colleges/institutes might have a high fee structure; therefore, accurate information about the fee should be made beforehand. The AACCC, M/o Ayush takes no responsibility for the fee structure of the Colleges.

15% AIQ of Govt/Govt Aided Colleges

  • All candidates qualified for the NEET (UG) - 2024 Examination are eligible.
  • The AACCC, M/o Ayush will conduct four rounds of counseling for admission to 15% All India Quota seats under Govt./Govt-Aided colleges/institutes through online mode: i.e. 1st Round, 2nd Round, 3rd Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.
  • No seats will be reverted to the participating institutes after completing all rounds of AACCC-UG counseling.

AIQ of Central Universities

  • All candidates qualified for the NEET (UG) - 2023 are eligible.
  • The AACCC, M/o Ayush, will conduct four rounds of counseling for admission to seats under Central Universities and National Institutes through online mode: i.e. 1st Round, 2nd Round, 3rd Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.
  • No seats will be reverted to the participating institutes after completing all rounds of AACCC-UG counseling.

100% AIQ Of Deemed University

  • All candidates qualified for the NEET (UG)- 2023 are eligible.
  • There will be four rounds of counseling, i.e. 1st Round, 2nd Round, 3rd Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.
  • Out of the four rounds, three rounds will be conducted online by the AACCC, M/o Ayush, i.e. 1st Round, 2nd Round, and 3rd Round.
  • The Stray Vacancy round shall be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities, for which the AACCC, M/o Ayush, will forward the list of registered eligible candidates to the respective Deemed Universities. Only candidates registered in the AACCC-UG counseling are eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round, conducted by Deemed Universities.
  • All UG seats of Deemed Universities are domicile free and un-reserved, i.e. reservation policy of Central Govt. is not applicable.

N.B : Candidate may kindly note that registering for Ayush Counselling does not confer any automatic rights to secure an Under Graduate seat. The selection and admission to Under Graduate seats in any Ayush Institution recognized for running Under Graduate courses subject to fulfilling the merit, admission criteria, eligibility, and such criteria as may be prescribed by the respective universities, Ayush institutions, Ayush Council of India, State/Central Government.

ODISHA AYUSH COUNSELLING

  • Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee, as the State Counselling Authority, will conduct counselling for admission to State Quota Seats of BAMS/BHMS courses in all the Govt. and Private institutions of the State.
  • The Counselling and Admission Process for BAMS/BHMS courses of all the Govt. and Private Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Colleges of Odisha through web-counselling. Candidates interested for admission to BAMS/BHMS must have qualified in NEET-UG.
  • Only natives of Odisha are eligible for all State Quota seats. All Odisha and out-side Odisha State students are eligible for the All India Quota seats in Private colleges only.
  • The candidate must be of at least 17 years of age as on 31.12.2023
  • For State Quota seats, the parents of the candidate must be permanent natives of Odisha. Every candidate must produce Resident / Nativity certificate

N.B: Candidates must note that the benefit of reservation will be given to them subject to verification of documents. If it is discovered at any stage that a candidate has used a false/fake/incorrect document, or has furnished false, incorrect, or incomplete information, in order to avail the benefit of reservation, then such a candidate shall be excluded from all admission processes. In case such a candidate has already been given admission, the admission shall stand cancelled.)

Important Pont for Admission Process

  • All NEET Qualified and eligible candidates are required to register on the Counselling website to participate in the counselling process for allotment of seat.
  • A candidate can submit NEET-UG Counselling application/registration form only once.
  • Any candidate found to have submitted more than one application/registration form for NEET-UG Counselling shall be debarred from NEET-UG Counselling allotment process, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.
  • Then all the successful Registration Candidate follow the Round wise counseling properly.
